NOAH’S ARK” VS “COVID-19″*
NOAH’S-ARK and the flood that wipped out the whole of humanity except the living souls in the ark cannot be compared to the destructiveness of COVID-19 but yet NOAH’S-ARK seems to be underrated and almost irrelevant today. But nevertheless, there are lessons to be learnt from NOAH’S-ARK and COVID-19 because both had destrucrive impact on humanity, although that of NOAH’S-ARK was God-made according to [Genesis 6:9 & 7:4] but COVID-19 is what-made?
The lessons to be learnt from NOAH’S-ARK includes:
✓ Those in the ark found grace in the eyes of God. [Genesis 6:8]
✓ Those in the ark lived as though nothing happened.[Genesis 7:23]
✓ Those in the ark prepared ahead of time before the flood came.[Genesis 6:22]
✓ Those in the ark obeyed the voice of God and followed His instructions.
[Genesis 6:22 & 7:5]
✓ Those in the ark had a covenant with the living God. [ Genesis 6:18]
✓ Those in the ark had abundance of food and provisions thought the fourthy days of flood. [Genesis 6:21]
✓ Those in the ark co-perated with the carrier of the vision to build the ark- NOAH. [Genesis 7:6]
✓ Those in the ark walked with God.[ Genesis 6:9]
✓ Those in the ark understood times and seasons because they listened to the voice of God.[Genesis 7:1]
✓ Every livingthing in the ark was preserved because of NOAH’S obedience to God and His instructions.
APPLICATION OF THE LESSONS FROM NOAH’S-ARK IN RELATION TO COVID-19
✓ *Do you have an active relationship with your maker?* If you don’t, today is the best day to start your eternal journey with your creator. *It was Noah’s active relationship with God that preseved him from destruction.*
✓ *Who’s instructions do you follow?* Noah followed the instructions of God and himself and his family was preserved from the destruction caused by the flood. *If you connect with your creator, He gives you specific instructions to preserve you.*
✓ *How prepared are you?*
Be like Noah who after he received instructions from God went to work immediately and thus built the ark that not only preserved him but all of God’s creation. *It’s one thing to receive instructions from God and it’s another thing to follow the instructions promptly*
✓ *What are you listening to?*
Who’s voice do you follow? Some follow the voice of a celebrity, some other’s follow the voice of social media while many others follow the voice of the people, another category follow the voice of their selfish self…it matters the voice you are following or listening to. *To listen to a voice is to follow the owner of the voice*. Today’s world is filled with divers voices but I admonish that you **follow the voice of God through His words written in the Holy Scriptures.*
✓ NOAH’S-ARK, COVID-19 and many more destructive calamities to come, what matters is the status of your standing with your creator. Put your life in order with God today and preserve your life with those who follow you from the coming ultimate destruction of the this present world and it’s system to make way for the new to come in a moment.
